An open source project managed for television stations
by proximity media outlets of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Belgium)..
Launched in June 2018 at Qu4tre Liège Média, basique is an open-source project dedicated to transforming content management for proximity media outlets. Designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind, our goal is to enable small, community-focused broadcasters to take full control of their media workflows without the need for costly, complex solutions.
basique is proudly supported by a network of lean, community-oriented broadcasters from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in Belgium, including Antenne Centre, Boukè, Canal Zoom, MaTélé, Télé MB, TéléSambre, TV Com, TV Lux, and Vedia. Their collaboration ensures that basique addresses the real challenges faced by proximity media outlets.
basique is built using cutting-edge yet accessible technologies that prioritize usability and performance:
While basique currently operates in French, we are actively working toward a multi-lingual version, opening doors for proximity media outlets worldwide to benefit from this streamlined solution.
This project is brought to life by a passionate team of professionals:
With basique, you gain a lightweight, efficient, and easy-to-use content management solution tailored specifically to the realities of proximity media. Take charge of your workflows, reduce dependencies, and focus on what matters most—delivering great content to your community.
